My Story

In my eyes, a painting done without emotion is not a work of art. I strive to put on canvas the feelings that arise from the scene I am painting whether it is a floral, still life or urban landscape.

One of my acrylic paintings was chosen by Queen’s Park for inclusion in their Archives. Recognition by my peers is always the most satisfying of feedbacks.

In the past few years I have been fortunate to receive artistic recognition of my work, including the International Wittnauer Award in 2006, and election to full membership in 2008 from the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolor.
